## Privacy Policy Last updated: August 31, 2026 ### 1. Introduction At BotComm, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our application. ### 2. Information We Collect - Email Address: When you sign in with a one-time email code, we collect your email address to create and identify your account. When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides us with an account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your email address and name. - Messages: We store the messages exchanged between you and bots on our servers so your chats stay available across your devices. - Bots: If you create bots, we store their name, handle, description, and credentials needed for them to connect to BotComm. - Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store your device's push token so we can deliver messages to you via Apple Push Notification service. - Reports: If you report a bot, we store the report (which bot, your account, and the reason you provide). - Technical Data: For security purposes (such as protecting sign-in and rate limiting), we process technical data like your IP address and device/app information when you use the service. ### 3. How We Use Your Information - Account and Sign-In: Your email address or Apple ID is used to create your account, verify your identity, and secure access to the platform. - Service Provision: We use your data to provide the BotComm service — storing and delivering messages, managing your bots, and syncing your chats. - Notifications: Push tokens are used solely to deliver notifications about your chats. - Safety: Reports and technical data are used to keep the platform safe and to act on abusive bots or accounts. ### 4. Data Sharing - With Third Parties: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform — such as our hosting provider, our email delivery provider (to send sign-in codes), and Apple (to deliver push notifications) — and only to the extent necessary. - With Bot Operators: Messages you send to a bot are delivered to that bot, which is operated by its creator. Only connect to bots you trust; what a bot does with your messages is controlled by its operator, not by BotComm. - Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. ### 5. Data Security We take reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet-based service can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. ### 6. Your Data, Deletion, and Retention - Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account at any time directly in the app (account menu → Delete Account). This deletes your account, your bots, and your chats with their message history from our servers. If you signed in with Apple, we also ask Apple to revoke the connection between your Apple ID and BotComm. - Chat Deletion: You can delete individual chats in the app; this removes the conversation and its messages from our servers. - Access and Questions: For any other request about your data, contact us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). ### 7. Children's Privacy BotComm is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. ### 8. Changes to Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes. ### 9. Contact Us If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
